Latest out of Shanghai

The best source of news on the World Gateball Championships is expected to be the Chinese Gateball Association website. Unfortunately for us this website is in Chinese, however online translators can provide some translation.
The latest document appears to be aimed at paying spectators.

My reading of the main points are:
  • Ticket prices for spectators will range from 30 –120 Yuan, around $5 ‑ $20 AUD.
  • There will be a daily limit of 2,500 tickets sold to avoid overcrowding!
  • An opening ceremony is scheduled from 4:30– 5:30pm on Friday 17 September.
  • The event will end with a closing ceremony on Sunday 19 September including cultural performances.

Caution should be used in interpreting this information as online interpreters are approximate at best.

A couple of pictures of the venue are published on the World Gateball Union website. This website is expected to be the other source of updated information in the lead-up to the event.
